About our Speakers

Joseph Carson, CISSP | Chief Security Scientist | Thycotic

Joseph Carson is a cyber security professional and ethical hacker with more than 25 years’ experience in enterprise security specializing in blockchain, endpoint security, network security, application security & virtualization, access controls, and privileged account management. Joseph is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), active member of the cyber security community frequently speaking at cyber security conferences globally, often being quoted and contributing to global cyber security publications. He is a cyber security advisor to several governments, critical infrastructure, financial, transportation, and maritime industries. Joseph is regularly sharing his knowledge and experience giving workshops on vulnerabilities assessments, patch management best practices, the evolving cyber security perimeter, and the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Joseph serves as Chief Security Scientist at Thycotic and author of Privileged Account Management for Dummies and Least Privilege for Dummies.


Pat Trivedi | Enterprise Account Executive | Thycotic

Pat Trivedi is a champion and advocate of IT security awareness and speaks to clients and partners throughout the year to share the value of an effective Privileged Account Management strategy. In addition to coaching enterprises of the risks involved with privileged accounts and endpoints, he meets with clients daily to discuss their security strategies and has broad experience with mitigating risk from SMBs to world renowned brands.


Shaun Nichols | Senior Engineer | Thycotic

Shaun Nichols has worked in cyber security for a number of years before joining Thycotic as an Engineer. Shaun understands the liabilities presented by vulnerable information systems and how this impacts business. He also knows the goals that information security teams and IT operations teams are uniquely invested in, and works with these diverse stakeholders to successfully address the technical components of their security challenges. Shaun is a Thycotic solution expert, so feel free to engage him in questions about any product features or technical concerns.

Parking Information

Parking will be validated for registered attendees who park at the City View Plaza garage adjacent to Morton's.


Is my ticket transferrable?

If you can't make it, but someone else from your company can, they can definitely come in your place. If you know in advance, email Molly at molly.troha@thycotic.com and we'll switch names for you on the guest list.


This is too far away, can I forward the invitation to a colleague?

Sure! As long as they're interested in security and learning more about Privileged Access Management or Least Privilege strategies, we'd love to have them.


Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Nope! Only thing required is you!
